Maritim Hotel - Tonsberg

This hotel is in a prime location as it is right in the centre and opposite the library. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for meals, and the Fregatten restaurant offers a good variety of dishes. If needed, it's easy to take the taxi. the room and bathroom were clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. the breakfast had a good selection, including a cooked breakfast.

The receptionist was not very accommodating and welcoming.

I like the fact that the hotel was in town

I dislike the fact that our room was a smoking room. It smells really bad! We are not somker and when we booked the hotel, nobody asked if we wanted a smocking room or not.....

It's location was excellent. Cheapest hotel in Tonsberg.Free internet use.

A little dated. Furniture in room was stained, old wall mounted soap dispensers still on wall with brown sludge in....not attractive.

The hotel staff was excellent; always friendly, accommodating and efficient. We were impressed with the manager who went out of his way to meet us at the airport even when we were delayed to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a stone's throw from the ocean and a short walk from the transportation hub. Despite the convenience of the location, the hotel was still quiet and peaceful. The breakfast buffet served at the hotel was delicious, and the front desk person was knowledgeable and helpful.

heater was not working, staff was helpful, he gave me an electric one.

We was a group of 7 people, were some of us hade to change rooms several time becouse either people was still living in the room or becouse the room was not clean, it was even a room were it was no bed in the room , only some madrases on top of each other. The breakfast in the morning was unhygienic.

This hotel is a great value for money, offering competitive prices without compromising on quality. The central location of this hotel, right in the center of town, is perfect for easy access to nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff is attentive and accommodating, providing friendly service throughout our stay. The breakfast spread is satisfying, offering a variety of options to start the day off right.

All was just fine, no aspects that need improvement.

Free parking. Easy reach to all main sights and seaside promenade. Very spacious room, but poor lightning.

Inadequate heating of the room. Heating turned up 100% and yet the room temperature never exceeded 13C, which is somewhat chilly in November.

The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. We were able to easily walk to nearby restaurants and attractions, including the library just across the street. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our basic needs were met. Our room had twin beds and a large bathtub, providing us with a comfortable and relaxing stay. Bathrooms needs renovation (works properly but looks ugly, at least clean and shower is big that's advantage).

I recently stayed at a hotel in Tonsberg and had a very pleasant experience. the value for money was excellent, especially considering the size of the room. Secondly, the hotel's location was ideal, situated in a quiet street but close to restaurants and the local library. Lastly, the staff were friendly and provided helpful recommendations for exploring the town. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was satisfactory.

Spent Christmas at a hotel in Tonsberg. Great central location, close to shops and restaurants. Free Wi-Fi was a life saver, as was the free parking. Rooms had all required amenities such as a fridge and hairdryer. The view of the city from the room was fantastic.

The heating system in the hotel wasn't working properly, so it was pretty cold. When we asked at reception, they told us that they had a problem with the boilers.
